Why Choose 24 Mantra Organic ?

Our organic journey from seed to home :

Our journey began with a handful of dedicated farmers, a shared vision, and a deep respect for the land. That initial spark has grown into a thriving community of incredible 34,000+ dedicated farmers across 12 Indian states, cultivating more than 1,90,000+ acres of land with a shared passion for sustainable, environmentally conscious agriculture. By prioritizing natural inputs and respecting the ecological balance, these farmers embody the principles of organic agriculture. Their commitment to the land, deliver healthy, nourishing, unadulterated food and their unwavering belief in a better future are the heart of our mission.

We choose farmers from varied agro-climatic zones of India & produce crops which are native to that particular place and also take consideration of the climatic conditions and soil, which translates into quality produce.

All our farming lands are supervised by our team members present across the India. Our inclusive model involves partnering with Local Non Governmental organizations in mobilizing farmers and training them in Organic agriculture. We partner with leading agriculture research institutions and experts in India and abroad to evolve best organic agriculture practices to improve agricultural productivity, farm sustainability and quality of the produce.

The second step in our journey is the meticulous selection of premium, organic local seeds that are nurtured to the particular requirements of each area. By doing this, the crops are certain to flourish and maintain their inherent qualities.

This is How We Choose Right Soil | Right Farmer and Right Seed

Unique farming practices :

"Right Soil, Right Farmer, Right Crop" Method : A science-driven approach that optimizes crop selection for soil and climate compatibility, enhancing yield quality, boosting productivity, and promoting sustainable agriculture

Encouraging Farmers With Organic Training : We provide hands-on training to farmers in organic farming methods, turning them into sustainability champions while improving their livelihoods and fostering responsible agriculture.

Green manures and biofertilizers : for organic soil health we employ nutrient rich green manure like Farm yard manure, Azolla, herbal preparations and biofertilizers in place of synthetic fertilizers to replenish soil fertility and promote a healthy, self sustaining ecosystem. To lessen their reliance on chemicals and improve the soil organically, farmers are urged to convert their agricultural waste into nutrient-rich compost.

Intercropping : A Resilient and diverse harvest combined crop production promotes soil health, increases insect resistance, and produces a more robust, sustainable crop.

To foster natural harmony, we embrace intercropping growing multiple crops together to create beneficial interactions—while minimizing tillage to protect organic matter and reduce soil erosion. Mulching adds an extra layer of care, shielding the soil from harsh conditions and conserving its moisture.

Our commitment extends to using biological pest control, we use neem-based extracts and helpful insects to ensure that our produce is free of hazardous residues while also safeguarding the environment. relying on nature’s own allies to manage pests without compromising the soil’s health. Carefully maintained buffers and barriers ensure the land remains uncontaminated, protecting its organic integrity.

Zones of Buffering for Organic Purity : Our organic crops are protected from chemical contamination by designated buffer zones that separate organic and conventional farms, maintaining their authenticity and purity.

We practice crop rotation : To maintain balanced soil nutrients and prevent depletion, while green manures and cover crops protect the land from erosion, enhance fertility, and enrich organic matter. Manuring and composting further nourish the soil, replenishing it with essential micronutrients that sustain long-term productivity.

Quality check before harvest :

Level 1-Social Control : Farmers are bonded into small organic groups. These small groups with a combination of self-adherence, social control and supervision ensure that the conversion of farmer into an organic farmer is complete. Takes up to 4 years to realize this commitment.

Level 2-Regular Field visits : Our Field Officers visit every farm 2 – 3 times in a month. They check adherence, provide timely solutions that facilitate the farming methods, train the famers and sustain the purity of the crop.

Level 3-Internal Inspections : Randomly selected teams conduct a well laid out inspection process which in turn ensures objectivity. Contamination from other fields, adherence to processes and the larger picture of maintaining organic integrity are evaluated. We check twice a year. Over 30,000 inspections in a year.

Level 4: Certification Agencies do their checks 2 times a year. They check everything – farmer, soil, water and the produce sample.

Level 5: We do a pesticide residue check before the crop is procured as a final check to ensure the products are pure and have no pesticides.

Direct procurement ensures authenticity :

Typically for every 100 – 150 farmers have a Supervisor. We procure the crop from the farm. Rather at the farmer’s doorstep. Procurement centers are set up at the sites to reduce production risks and farmers are contacted directly without any middlemen. In fact the payments are all done through banks and online transfers to ensure authenticity and transparency. This has helped us carve a niche and cemented our relationships with thousands of farmers across several States of India. Each bag coded for the item name, variety, farmer code, group code | season | year and quantity for traceability

India’s first certified (MAT) Modified Atmosphere Treatment Facility :

Traditionally lots of chemicals are used in storing grains to prevent infestation. Our storage is done without the use of any chemicals. we adopt various measures to retain freshness, flavor and nutritive value

Sresta Natural Bioproducts Limited has been awarded the Registration of Modified Atmosphere Treatment / Controlled Treatment (MAT) Facility and the Certificate of Accreditation of MAT Operator. This includes the certification in accordance with NSPM-25 guidelines.

In India, Sresta is the first company to use the CO2 Cocoon MAT facility. In a Cocoon system, the CO2 fumigation exterminates any insect in the commodity. The CO2 is flushed through the inlet port at the base of the Cocoon and excess air is released through the zipper at the top.

Modified Atmosphere Treatment : Our carbon dioxide-based modified atmosphere technology ensures grains and spices are treated without chemicals, making them safer and purer.

Machine Cleaning : We utilize cutting-edge machinery such as pre-cleaners, gravity separators, and sortex machines to ensure grains are cleaned to the highest purity standards.

Traditional cleaning : While automated systems handle the majority of cleaning tasks, manual intervention remains crucial for specific ingredients, such as small grains. Experienced females are designated to clean such products through traditional hand picking process under hygienic conditions to offer clean products.
